Guardian Peak Sauvignon Blanc

Fresh and approachable, for everyday drinking, part of the reputed Jean Engelbrecht portfolio. The brand identity is built around the enjoyment of food and wine. Sauvignon Blanc grapes are sourced from vineyards in Breedekloof and Darling. The slow fermentation at cool temperatures retains varietal aromatics and preserves the vibrant fresh fruit character of the wine.

Guardian Peak Chenin Blanc

This wine is made in a fresh, friendly, and easy-drinking style. Great as an aperitif or with food is has a delicate floral fragrance of apple blossoms accompanied by lively fruit notes of fresh pear, pineapple, and peach. A fresh acidity accompanies the vibrant fruit, providing a clean crisp palate with hints of biscotti on the finish. Light-bodied but focussed, this wine will pair well with seafood, sushi, and grilled chicken.

Guardian Peak is named after the towering peak on Stellenbosch Mountain. Founded in 1998 by Jean Engelbrecht, to create a range of fresh and approachable, everyday drinking wines. This Cabernet Sauvignon preserves all of the juicy fresh fruit flavours you would expect to find. 6 months maturation in French oak barrels adds complexity.

Guardian Peak SMG

Guardian Peak SMG gets its name from the blend that makes up this red wine, namely, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache. Grapes were selected from vineyards in Stellenbosch (Syrah), Breedekloof (Mourvèdre) and Piekenierskloof (Grenache). Each variety is individually vinified then transferred to 300L French oak barrels for 18 months barrel ageing.
