Champagne Billecart-Salmon

Billecart-Salmon is one of the few remaining family-owned grande marques of Champagne. It all began in 1818 when Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon founded a Champagne House that was above all conscious of the excellence of its wines. Since then, every member of the Billecart family has been committed to perpetuating the family tradition through standing by the immutable oath: ‘Give priority to quality, strive for excellence'.

Billecart-Salmon Brut Réserve
In 1818 Nicolas François Billecart married Elisabeth Salmon, marking the creation of their Champagne House. Over 7 generations, each member of the family has endeavoured to continue the same motto: "Give priority to quality, strive for excellence". The Brut Réserve is a light, fine and harmonious Champagne. Made up of a blend from three different years and three different grape varieties: mainly Pinot Meunier, followed by equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Billecart-Salmon Demi-Sec
The Demi-Sec has an identical blend to the Brut Réserve. Namely a blend from three different years and three different grape varieties: Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It maintains the same finesse and elegance, but has a greater dosage to add a delicate and gently sweet component to the wine.

Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé
Brut Rosé Champagne had long been considered second class to other Champagnes. In the 1970s, Jean Roland-Billecart decided to try to create a worthy Rosé, aiming for a pale hue, fresh flavours and subtle notes of red berries. The gamble paid off and the Brut Rosé Non-Vintage has since become the House’s flagship cuvée and provides a reference point amongst other rosé champagnes. A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, vinified as red wine. Additional complexity is derived from 36 months on the lees and 2 to 4 years bottle ageing.

Billecart-Salmon Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru
This cuvée reveals the special quality of the 100% Chardonnay sourced from the four Grand Cru vineyards of the Côte des Blancs and is blend of two different years. Its added complexity from 4 - 5 years on the lees, its great vinosity and the surprisingly fresh finish, is characteristic of the Champagne Billecart-Salmon Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru.
